  • Ongoing Access to module and Q&A session recordings.
  • Ongoing Access to my college planning technology (available only to planning professionals) populated with your family’s financial data as you complete each step of the process, so by the end of the course you have a plan that is tailored to your unique circumstances.

Pay Less for College!

After Peg guides you through populating your portal, you will have estimates of your 3 EFCs. Through access to your portal, you will learn where your family may receive significant discounts off the cost of college allowing you to guide your child to build a college list with schools that are affordable! Your child can continue to build their list by searching for colleges based on maximizing merit and/or need-based aid and many other parameters. You will also be identifying planning opportunities that are unique to your family.

Forms & Figures

Probably the least fun step 😊, but after going through this module you will be familiar with the FAFSA and the CSS Profile, so jumping in and completing these forms while avoiding common mistakes will be a breeze.

You’re In!

This is probably the most fun step, when your child has received all their acceptances. Learn how to analyze financial aid award letters and develop strategies to reach out to colleges and get more aid. Just like many things in life, there is a right way and a wrong way to do this! Knowing the right way could get you thousands of dollars of additional aid.

Your Adventure Awaits!

Bringing it all together to create your best strategy to pay for college considering all your sources of funds and the award package your child received. This includes an in-depth discussion of student loan strategies, borrowing against your home, accessing 529s, accepting outside help without losing financial aid from the college, looking for private scholarships, and more.
