What is the CSS Profile?
The CSS Profile is a second financial aid form that is required by 200+ colleges (mostly private, but some public schools as well.) Students will be required to submit this form AND the FAFSA if they wish to be eligible for Federal and institutional (endowment) aid. This form contains a common set of questions, but individual colleges can choose from a pool of supplemental questions to customize their form. The CSS Profile goes live each year on or around October 1st. This form is administered through College Board.
